Jeremiah 1:1-2:30; Psalm 75; Proverbs 24:17-20; Jeremiah 1:7

As we seek to be about God’s mission, we will find ourselves in much the same situation that Jeremiah found himself in: we will find ourselves with a heavy message and a sense of inadequacy. Just as God assured Jeremiah that he would be with him and that he would prophetically speak God’s words, God is also with us and we proclaim God’s words when we proclaim the Scriptures. Like Jeremiah, we are called to courage. Today, trust God at his word and open your heart to the courage of the Holy Spirit.
