Zechariah 5-6; Psalm 143; Proverbs 30:24-28; Zechariah 6:9-13

Zechariah 3:8 tells us that Joshua the high priest is symbolic of things to come, namely our great high priest, Jesus, and in light of that, this passage takes on rich, deep meaning. The people that God scattered (us) will bring their precious things, their ‘glory’, and they will give it as a crown to the High Priest (Jesus) as a declaration that He is God’s man, He possesses God’s majesty and has done God’s work. This is a great guide for our Christmas celebration. How can you bring your precious things to Jesus and place them as a crown on His head, knowing that He did God’s work to save you?
